PTFA News Issue One

An Overview

We hope this newsletter finds you in good health and high spirits. There have been some recent changes within our PTFA which we would like to update you on. Firstly, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to Nikki, who has served as the secretary in the recent months. Nikki has decided to step down from her role, and we want to acknowledge her hard work and dedication to the PTFA. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.

A great start for 2024!

We are delighted to announce that Jenny has taken over the position of secretary. We are confident that Jenny’s organisational skills and enthusiasm will be valuable assets to our PTFA. Please join us in welcoming Jenny to her new role.

Additionally, we would like to introduce Reece, who will now be serving as the co-chair alongside Jack. We are excited to have Reece on board, and we believe that his passion for our cause will help drive our PTFA’s success even further.

Now, onto some exciting news! We are thrilled to share that we have donated £2000 towards new football goals for the school. This donation was necessary due to the unfortunate theft of our previous goals. We are committed to ensuring that our children have the facilities they need to thrive, and we are proud to support their sporting endeavors.

In addition to the football goals, we have also donated £455 for another year’s subscription to First News. This newspaper provides our children with current affairs and encourages their interest in the wider world. We believe it is essential for them to be well-informed global citizens.

Furthermore, we have contributed £110 for a 2-year subscription to National Geographic for Kids. This magazine is an excellent resource for our young learners, fostering their curiosity about the natural world and expanding their knowledge.

Looking ahead, we have some exciting events lined up. This week, we are eagerly anticipating the Valentine’s Disco. The disco promises to be a fun-filled evening for our students, with music, dancing, and lots of laughter. We thank our dedicated volunteers who have put in countless hours to make this event a success.

Moreover, we are really looking forward to the upcoming 2024 fundraising challenge. This challenge will bring together our school community, encouraging us to work collectively towards a common goal. We have already seen some really exciting fund raising ideas being shared and can’t wait to hear more about them all.

As always, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for your continued support.
